New oil pressure switch - seal around it or not?

I’ve read others saying that oil pressure switches are prone to leaking from the red bit on the top and it’s worth sealing around it, even on a new one.   What is the consensus on that? Do you need to do it or not?

If it was a genuine or OEM I'd probably not bother, anything other I probably would. Takes a lot less time to add some epoxy sealer than replace it if/when it leaks....
