Has anyone got a spare crankcase breather plate or easy access to the top of an engine?  I need the dimensions of the plate, to enable me to build a throttle support plate, but would rather not wait until I remove the CIS from my engine in November.

My current plan is to build a plate that mounts onto the 4 bolts on the breather plate and projects forward, with a throttle pivot point at the mid-point of my ITBs, hence the need for dimensions.

If I bolt my plate in top of that, where are the bolt holes and what will need to be remived from tge muddke to clear the sticky-up bits

In my mind is essentially a large U section to bolt into the cover plate , with the bottom of the U being solid plate continuing out to where I need to mount my pivot.

I've seen one on a Pelican post, but can't find the photo just now.

If you PM me your address I can do a ‘brass rubbing’ of it and send it to you, if that helps?

I know the one you mean. I can’t remember the name of the company that used to do it but they went out of business. Rennsport and Rothsport both do similar.

But, DanStEngineering do a linkage you could use with the mounting plate you develop. (They still have the pic of my old engine on the site :D )

Thanks TB.  PM inbound.

That's the thread Phill.

I have the DanST linkage, so just need to fabricate a plate to support it.
