Hi,

Was this type of front bumper with the side reflectors delivered within the EU on a '76 3.0. It is stated that it was originally delivered to Italy.

Kind regards,
Hieronymus

Hi,

Thank you for the comments. Much appreciated!
Unfortunately it isnt mine Phil ( but perhaps in the near future, if things add up ;) )
Currently on the hunt for a '76-'77 3.0 EU specification in a shade of brown with frabric interiour, but the side reflectors threw me off if this was actually an EU specification.

The car is listed for sale, any comments about the car being non EU, or other things that dont add up that I have missed would be helpful :)

Wot cho talking about Willis?

Its a 1977 Carrera 3.

I take back what I said about the indicators, 1976 & 77 cars did indeed come with the 2 orange indicator lens for Denmark, Japan, Italy & Netherlands :smartass:

I know but look at the picture of the vin plate, it say 911SC

Although the VIN number itself is definitely a Carrera 3.0 coupe.

Very strange - earlier VIN number stamped on a later VIN plate ?

Thanks for the answers again,

Please correct me if I am wrong, but the 911 SC stamp can be found on cars dating back to 1973, even on the 2.7RS.
Does the 3.0K stand for the K Jetronic fuel injection?

Quite normal VIN, this is the engine bay sticker for a Carrera 3

I concur that the orange outer lenses are correct for Italy.

SC on the VIN plate is also correct, it is the internal designation used by Porsche for the Carrera from the '73RS.

The 'K' on the VIN plate is the model year: G=74, H=75, I=76, K=77 For some reason 'J' was not used

Looks a good Carrera 3 to me and presumably the dealer would have some paperwork to support an Italian delivery. (A previous ad said delivered new in Milan)
