I cant see it working with a rubber front lip spoiler, without one it should work

You would have to put a serious "kink" in it to fit a spoilered car

I did fit it but as matt says it was to close to the rubber lip, so took it off and sold it on

These look like they could work, the trick is to see if a rope would snag the spoiler lip  when being towed

I know it's not as "racy" but the standard 3.2 Carrera front A-arm tow/skid bracket (part number 91134103702) works fine with the rubber front lip spoiler:
