Fuel Additive

Turbo LE

Recommended Posts

I have a 89 930 Turbo LE , When i purchased it last year the previus owner gave me a couple of bottles of fuel additive . one measure each time i fill the tank ,He said because it's lead free petrol.

Can anyone tell me Do i have to use this and does it make a difference to performance, does my engine need to be tuned in any way so not to use this or does it not make any difference. I only use super plus 97 Ron fuel

He was talking rubbish Turbo, unleaded is no problem. Search the fuel forum for more info.

Haven't you got any newer pics of your car?! ;)

Were you the LE on that Impact run the other day, looks like yours in one pic.

I have to say - that is IB perfection.

Back in the 70s 'Motor' mag did a series of 'supercar' articles, which included a 911 Turbo in (and my memory is probably failing me) something similar to that colour. The colour centre spread stayed on my bedroom wall for a very long time - I was probably 8 or 9 at the time!).

Resurrecting an old thread here. Not regarding lead but ethanol.

Opie Oils have free delivery this weekend and as Shell Petrol Stations are few and far between up here in the sticks, thinking of an additive. This looks good https://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-69350-millers-vspe-power-plus-ethanol-protection-lead-replacement-octane-boost.aspx. Is this what you use @SP72?

Yup, go with the multi shot version - check ebay too, might be cheaper
