Door lock

My drivers door lock barrel is spinning and not locking or unlocking. Is that a barrel issue? In which case i cant fix it myself.

Sounds like the screw on the end is loose, need to strip the door card off and remove handle

Even if a barrell issue you can fix it yourself. The door lock system is fairly simple overall, and I would consider any part of it 100 percent DIY

As type911 says, start by taking the door card off, carefully pull back your door membrane and shine a torch at your door lock and handle. When you fix it, it's a good time to lubricate your door locks, cavity wax your doors, and if you have a targa align your door window to roof.

Tape up your electric window connections so you don't create an accidental short.
