Starting to put things back on my 3.2 targa supersport and there is significant play in the steering wheel.

I hope one of the following 2 items will solve it but would like to know which is the better solution.

Anyone tried them ?

Thanks in advance.

First one looks more substantial.  I'm sure Matt of Type 911 will be along shortly and will advise which is best.

I pressed a new bearing over the existing bearing, it just pushes the old one down the column/shaft out of the way.

Go for the 1st one as Nige says, its a better solution

it is amazing nobody suggest the original bearing with Teflon inside.it does go bad but in 30 years. So if you get yourself new bearing there is no need to install the whole unit .Just take the Teflon off and install it into the existing bearing. All i do is shave a little the bottom edge so it is easier to install. That up date is nice product i just like the original. The 928 i a mickey mouse fix in my book.It is not made for 911 -totally different suspension.I know it it is less money but who wants to save on 911 which is worth 60K pound or $..?;-)

This way it will last you another 30 years.

I think the aftermarket bush will last more than 30 years!
