I'm going to try a set of these, BUT.....

Which are the right ones for a 1988 3.2?

The global NGK site says BPR6EIX, std plugs BPR6ES. The UK site doesn't seem to acknowledge the 3.2 engine exists.

But other places I look quote the colder '8' temp rating as the one to go for. For example Matt lists the BPR8ES for the 3.2.

I guess NGK should know....

Porsche number is 99917015790 they were Bosch WR4CC which are NLA  so the NGK is BR8ES, B8ES will work too

Google the Porsche number and see what comes up!

Thanks Matt.

Yep, defo the NGK BPR8ES is the equivalent of the NLA WR4CC.

Puzzled as to why the NGK site lists the BPR6ES for the 3.2 engine. Ahhh..... I wonder if this relates to the US (lower power) 3.2 engine.

NGK heat range goes in the opposite direction to everyone else.

BPR8EIX it is then.

Heads up if anyone is after spark plugs.

GSF have the NGK Iridium at a bargain price. I have just picked up a set. Paid £32.33 for my set of six.
