Later style L kidney bowls. Will they fit?

I have a 1982 911 SC Targa in need of new sills and kidney bowls.

Is it possible to fit the later style ‘L’ shape kidney bowls?  If so are they a straight fit or are there any modifications needed?

A couple of guys on here have done quite  in depth restorations of Targas and documented them in detail on the Forum.  Have a search to see what you can find but they may respond anyway.

i did search and found some good info on kidney bowl replacement and photos, but I couldn’t find anything on replacing the standard kidney bowls for the later L shaped later ones?

They will go straight on.

I used them with genuine inner (centre) sills which are a 993 part number I think.

 They have the jacking point integrated into them.
