Hi to everybody, looks like an interesting site. Thought it worth joining your forum as a number of people i have talked to of late seem to think it has a lot to offer. You may well of heard of us and our exploits! My name is Paul Standley from Classicpreservation, you may be aware that we restore both Mercedes and Porsche. Currently on the Porsche front we are working on : 73 911s Targa full rebuild. 91 Carrera 4 low level restoration and re paint. 88 32 Carrera "B" posts sill front wings etc. We have another 3 mid to late 80s 911s booked in for the increasingly problematic "B" posts and usual corrosion in and around this area. In addition we have 69/70 911t for a semi rebuild due in a month or so. Last we have an unusual project that we should be starting over the next couple of weeks, 1967 swb 912 that is to be converted to 930 Turbo. It will be built as a light weight ,approx 1000 kilos. No big arches, no whale tail, light weight interior etc. Hope this gives a taste of what we do.

If any one requires advice on their 911 would be happy to advise by way of forum/email

Welcome Paul. Hope you enjoy the forum, but bear in mind that we don't allow trade ads or touting for business on the board. It is aimed at enthusiasts and not business users.

I'm sure if someone uses you guys they wil post their delight at the work done - the kind of recommendation that makes a difference.

Cheers, John G

Hello All

Happy New Year.

Despite the weather I had an excellent 1000 mile run over Xmas doing the family tour of duty. The driving was the best bit i reckon!

140k miles on the clock and she didn't miss a beat!

Have a good one!

Nathan

just discovered this wonderful little site through a member on Pelican (kiwiokie), and I signed up immediately!

I just bought this '85 RoW and this picture was taken on the journey home and it was utterly brilliant. This is my first 911, and I fell in love with IB's as this was my first recollection of what a Porsche should be. I will be removing the Turbo tail this winter in favor of a steelie-framed duck..

Welcome Chaos,

Nice car...I'm also going the "Ducky way" eventually. By any chance are you in the states? Since you mentioned Pelican.

Erm....hello all. Am I allowed on here?...I've actually had my 86' 3.2 Carrera for about 7 years and have only just found this site  Sorry!

I also run 67' Sunbeam Alpine and use a 66' Volvo Amazon estate as my everyday car. (Am I the first to type Volvo on this forum?) :whistling:
