Wish I could say "No, sir, it's my private collection", but I'd be a big fat liar !!

Yes, that's where I bought it from - top blokes IMHO.

Hi Paul,

Why do you have a mast on your car, does your engine not work :P:D

Cheers,

Tim.

I only use it when the wind is behind me a 6 meter square sail equates to about an extra 17 MPH over the standard top speed :whistling:

Hey Gwyn, welcome to the forum.

Lovley car, looks almost exactly as mine did before I started messing with it, mines a left hooker too.

I bet you have some lovley roads just on your doorstep - I have to put at least 50 miles in before the roads are any good!

Love it Gwyn, a naked narrow-bodied late Carrera Coupe is a very beautiful thing ;)

Welcome along!

I have to put at least 50 miles in before the roads are any good!

Jev, if you've never driven it, the road from Virginia Water through Woodside to Winkfeld and then up the 330 to J8/9 of the M4 to the 404 is a corker. I come up that way every so often, particularly if I am stuck in Weybridge late on a Friday. I love it as quite a bit of it is woodland, and a 911 sounds ace when it's blasting through the trees.

Thanks for the welcome, great roads but some poor road surfaces.

Yup, think I know the road you mean - you pass within 5 mins of my house if you troop up there, call me next time and we can have a beer!

I do know of the odd bit of road near by but they are all rubbish and short compared to the stuff you can get on in Wales and Scotland(im sure there are other areas but I havent been there) where you can be "on it" for good periods of time and meet very few other cars.

Sooo looking forward to going for a decent mission in the 911 soon.

Lovely Andy, welcome mate. Super car and nice pic too.

I am going to merge this thread with the 'hello new members' thread at some stage - hope no-one has any probs with that.

Hi Ian, car looks cool and your Rennlist site is A1

I particularly like where the "complaints" link at the bottom of Ian's home page points :ani_clapping:

Nice one Dave, good move starting a gallery. Putting a pic from there into a post is seriously easy with a bit of practice. Try it a few times, I can correct any errors in the code and show you where you are maybe going wrong if there is problem. Once you know how to do it, the methodology works on any forum anywhere (though not with pics from an IB gallery as they only show on IB).

When you have your gallery open, click on the pic you want to put in your post and get it open in full size. Once open, right-click on the pic, and then click 'properties' at the bottom, it will bring up a picture detail box. In the middle of that box there is an address that starts http:// and ends with the photo extension (so.jpg or .jpe or whatever). Triple click on that address, the PC will highlight the complete address, right click on the highlighted text and click copy, then put your message together, click where you want the pic to go, click the image icon on the post window and right-click on the address bar that pops up to paste the address into that popup box.

Then press OK, simple. Looks long-winded because I am typing it - reality is it takes no longer than 10 seconds.

Cheers John

Looks like it works for me, just added a photo of my 'garage' in the garage post
