  1. Thanks all - calipers now refurbished (£130 each using a service) and all running as good as new with new discs too Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Seems consistent that this is a booking fluid issue on right caliper - looks like the booking has pushed some of the fluid up out of the reservoir too as I look at it. Rebuild is out of my depth so I will need to take it into JZM ... can any good mechanic do this or does it need a Porsche specialist? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. So welcome Saturday ... gave me a chance to look deeper into this. I took the car out for a run... and problem still there and kicked in after 5 mins. Pull to the right and really shaky steering wheel as I brake and slow down. On stopping after 20 mins the right front wheel is is burning hot to touch (much hotter than front left). More concerning is I now seem to have lost all pressure on the brakes - I pump the brake pedal and it is loose and had no pressure.... the suddenly finds some.... luckily this happened as I was coasting home. I checked the brake fluid level and it appears ok .. so my question: what's going on!!!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Thanks for this Russ - very clear Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Thanks Lesworth. Why is there no steering pull if it is the front calipers? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. No major bumps I recall. How can I check the caliper sticking as it doesn't have a sensation of something sticking / dragging and then freeing up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Tyres are all sound and pressures even. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Hello all. Just recently I am really fighting the steering wheel as my SC pulls right. It doesn't seem to be consistent through a drive but comes along and stays until I stop. When I come back to it a few days later it is ok again... but then kicks in again during a drive. I am having to really tug at the wheel to keep it in check and the issue is more usual at slower speeds. I have stopped driving it until I sort this out but looking for ideas to see if I can find anything obvious. Thanks Darren Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. not yet ... it is still in the Uk (but to be precise, sat at Southampton docks waiting to be loaded).....
  10. An old post I know, but any of you guys with the Becker Indianapolis Pro help me with some issues - I just can't get the radio to scan and find any stations. I have the manual, follow al the instructions but nothing.... I don't have any diagrams etc to help me determine if it is an aerial issue etc. Any advice welcome.
  11. appreciate the input gents
  12. Hi all I might need to head out and live in the US for a couple of years. Rather than store my pristine SC I was thinking about taking it. Anyone know the rules as I recall that some early Porsches required some alteration for US export etc? Darren
  13. Silver it is then - thanks all
  14. Hi guys Got back from 3 weeks away, had forgot to leave the battery conditioner on. So its now flat and won't hold a charge. Looks like a new battery for me but the battery literally has no markings. Can anyone tell me what they are using so i can source one? Darren
  15. £350 + VAT for the job done. Sounds reasonable to me.
