strosek34 Posted June 13, 2022 Share Posted June 13, 2022 I’ve had SSI looking steel exhaust manifolds on my car for about 18 years now, with thinner SC flanges, from the 1974 era from what I remember, I put some thick washers under the nuts to compensate. They were what I could afford at the time with a plan to change to SSI’s when able to but as they are still going strong that hasn’t happened.
