Never experienced the 2.7MFI IB so my biased answer is CS... -

Interesting read this thread, I'll say upfront that I am the owner of a CS. I could never fathom why a 964 RS was a considerable amount more than a standard C2 when their values took off. But JG does sum it up above for the CS which I believe can be said of the 964. When I was in the market for a "special" 911 I was looking for a 930 and a CS. Very different cars granted. I'd read about the CS from from the day they where released and was drawn to it as it is a factory special. To me it was the closest to a factory 3.2 RS. Ultimately it was the CS that won over the 930 because to me it was a purer drive and was a special from the factory. So I can understand why the OP wants one, and if you can afford one why not drive it as intended. Nothing sadder then seeing amazing cars with no miles on them. I'll be watching the CC auction with interest not because I'll pat myself on the back to say well done....but just to see what the market at that particular time is saying that car is worth to someone who wants one. It's a bit like a 250GTO selling, are they really worth XX million? Well they are factory specials, there was only a few made, they have competition history..but really you could get a better, faster , cheaper Fezza that would be twice the fun but to those that want a GTO that isn't the point. -
Welcome! These CS cars are the hiding gem of 911's in my opinion, if you know, you know. Had mine almost 10 years and enjoyed every moment. Such a connected feel, and i love that mine sounds louder and feels faster than it is actually going. I recently added a 997 GT3 CS and was shocked at how slow the 3.2 CS was in comparison, but I can feel the DNA and love how similar they are. My nephews are part Thai and go back each easter to see the family in Bangkok, unfortunately they are both teenage boys and can't cook......Their family owns restaurants in Bangkok so I think I will suggest next easter they get some lessons for when they come home and stay with their Uncle!!

For Sale Roll-Cage from my 911 3.2. As you can see it has the ability for harnesses on the drivers side and on the passengers there are 2 holes that I do not know what purpose they serve. I've looked through the paperwork that came with the car and do not have a receipt and there are no markings on the cage so no idea what manufacturer it is from. Price - £400.

Hi I am looking for some advice regarding how to price my roll-cage. It is from my 3.2 Carrera and has been out of the car since I bought it. As you can see it has the ability for harnesses on the drivers side and on the passengers there are 2 holes that I do not know what purpose they serve. I've looked through the paperwork that came with the car and do not have a receipt and there are no markings on the cage so no idea what it is. Appreciate any advise you can give me on how to value it for sale. Thanks - Jamie.

Magic thank you. It's been in storage and was pumped up to 50....front is now reading 46 and rear 44, so I'll let them down tomorrow and see how I get on. Off for a long drive to Cornwall tomorrow and then a week of enjoying the roads down that way. So plenty of time to experiment.

Hi I was wondering if some one could advise me on tyre pressures. I have the following fitted to the car: Toyo Proxes R888 Front 205 x 55 ZR16 90W Rear 225 x 50 ZR16 92W Appreciate your comments and ideas.

I have it with my CS. However I have always wondered why Porsche went to the trouble of reducing weight - no passenger sun visor as an example, bu then stuck a heavy wooden made shelf with storage in the back. I am surprised it wasn't made out of fibreglass. Hearing it was a US requirement now makes sense!

I have no idea on the make of mine but it is a 3 out system. I have caps on the 2 central pipes. No difference in bhp from a RR read out but....you can as has been said before remove the caps for the full on attack mode that sets alarms off and has broken a few glasses in the house on start up! Then if it all gets anot much put the caps back. Still sounds good but meams a motorway cruise is reletively repaxed. It was one of the reasons i bought the car..
