ajurquhart Posted September 16, 2021 Share Posted September 16, 2021 Just checked a job carried out by opc, only carried out 75% of scope, charged for part and labour, not fitted, also bracket not fitted to pipe ! Best way to get it resolved….oh and a second visit £60 fuel cost incurred as supply chain error ( no parts on day ) …. ajurquhart Posted September 16, 2021 Author Share Posted September 16, 2021 I did contact 2 Centres , only one reply, took a few weeks as well ! The Scottish classic Centre didn’t reply . Work was the cam oil feed lines, the top pipes with rubber section and the two dropper pipes, only did 3 out of 4, was only the rubber sections that were leaking, but thought may as well get all done, going to call today, with a follow up mail. I know the response already….didn’t get the parts…bla bla bla I don’t have a specialist near me, although I did contact one, ( same work ) wasn’t interested, but did ask if my car was a keeper, suppose he thought I might sell. On a similar note, got email requesting to buy stock in, sent details…low miles, high spec Macan GTS, extended 3 year warranty , full service history etc, not even a reply, so sales and service department’s both lacking… coffee was ok Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

PorscheApostle Posted October 8, 2021 Share Posted October 8, 2021 Had a customer stop in with a 996 turbo looking to get his turbos refurbished , check valves , oil lines etc,. He was quoted 25k by his Porsche OPC. Althought this is a big job I think a lot of the time it's like builders who quote way over the odds as the job in something they do not want to commit to.
