Had a 3.3 turbo pop up on my ebay feed for £100k which i thought was spendy in this market https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/153411702444 then did a quick search and saw this at £140k https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/192450936527 £150k! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/223368535205 £170k! :-o https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/264207611896 all lovely looking cars and low mileage (i'd go for guards red targa) but this also led me to this for £40k, not a huge fan of the 964 clothing on the older car, but you can't deny it looks clean and tidy https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/223202711061 and this for £30k https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/264227259777 so a left hooker, converted (not an original supersport), and possibly caveat emptor on the seller, but if a targa turbo look is the one you want.... -

I remember an episode of some car crash TV back in the 90's or early 00's, think it was police camera action with Nick ??? from watchdog or crimewatch? Anyway, police attended a minor crash, young geezer under 30, in a 3.0 CSL, had just bought it, got rear ended or side swiped and it was written off. think he'd said he paid £3k for it. might have been a 630 though. i don't know the difference, but i'm sure there probably is....

Not sure i fully agree with issues on old tyres... My bike runs odd size wheels(18" rear, 16" front), so i have to get tyres where i can. I like to run a matched pair, but don't always get them at the same time. I tend to get through rears quicker, so the front can be a good few years older. i keep an eye on the dates and condition and not had any issues. I have had both front and rear slides, but usually due to diesel, or water on the surface. Now i'm no valentino rossi, but have run in this configuration at brands, donnington and various other places as well as road duty. in both dry and wet conditions. so, as long as they're stored okay, i'm sure you'll struggle to notice

All looking lovely, and will be a great garage... but is it just me that can't see where the garage door is? I woulda thought it'd be somewhere near the road, but.....

i have the 2003, but lowly 1.9. had it for 12 years, just rolled around 240k miles, chuck a couple of hundred quid at it each year to pass the MOT I'd be tempted, but for the fact i've got 11months MOT left to run

know that feeling, except i was back on 3.... was out last weekend on my bike at local towns italian weekend and got utterly soaked! it's old and it's italian so the electrics are never it's strong point even before they're wet!
