Hi, new to the forum from Brisbane here in Australia, not sure if this is in the right section so a mod can feel free to move it if its not.

This is mine, had it for just on 18 months now, already done a lot of work to it and it still has a lot to go, all work is done by Michael Harris at Promotive here in Brisbane.

Great shot of the arse end. Plates will change eventually, the front and rear impact bumpers will go in favour of IROC replicas as will the rear reflector.

Whats next

This isn't a car for the purist Porscheophile it is my interpretation of a 911 outlaw and it still has a long way to go.

Next up is a brake upgrade by Promotive and a suspension upgrade and tweaking at Murray Coote a suspension guru here in Australia.

This will be followed by replacing the front and rear bumper bars with the IROC bars, an IROC whale tail in carbon. I'll use the whaletail for the track and keep the ducktail for the street, then a full respray and replacing the decals with Porsche script as per the IROC cars.

Finally the engine and trans will get a refresh once they need it with some extra displacement to make things a bit more interesting though it only has 19,000 kilometres on it since the last full rebuild so not needed for awhile.

Al will be along in a mo': "blue is beautiful, blue is best"... :-)

Not just any blue, just Arrow. Deep down, you know it too... :)

Great looking car, Quozi. I wish mine looked half as tidy

Quozl, lovely lovely car!

Mine is similar look to what you are going for being a turbo bodied car with IROC front and rear.

My Braids turn up this week too!

Great colour!

Nice introduction to your car. A very nice one indeed and great workmanship, doing true justice to what is the best color for a 911 (but then I am a little biased :P )

Custom Tilton adjustable Pedal Box by Promotive400865_10151173711113081_1589625164_n.jp
The custom Tilton pedal box

The pedals seem to be further back than standard, was that part of the plan?

Thanks for sharing... really good stuff.

Hydraulic clutch conversion sounds interesting. Is it a kit?

All the work is custom by Michael Harris from Promotive here in Brisbane other than the Tilton pedals and master cylinder.

The pedals seem to be further back than standard, was that part of the plan?

Yes, the pedals are adjustable in two positions, the stock position near the firewall and where they are now nearer the middle of the car.

I'm quite short 163cm and found that with the stock pedals I had to have my seat all the way forward to depress the clutch fully and this left me in a poor driving position with my arms too far forward on the wheel. With the pedals in the position now my seating position both hands and feet is perfect.

The reason we made them adjustable is I wanted to be able to return them to the stock position in case we did a dual driver event and one of my taller mates wanted to drive the car. It's a very quick (under 10 mins) job to change the pedals back to the stock position. You undo four bolts, the pedals are mounted on a plate and the plate assembly slides forward and locks into the new position, you do up the four bolts and you're away.

Cheers Al
